Summertime in Emilia offers unique opportunities to tourists.
Take Reggio Emilia as an example.
In July and August, from Tuesday to Sunday inclusive, the Civic Museums, that is the Museums Palace, the Parmeggiani Gallery and the Tricolour Museum, are open every evening until 10 pm.
These places are normally included in our itineraries: the Museum Palace with its multiform collections, the Parmeggiani Gallery guarded by the gargoyles and the Tricolour Museum which bears witness to the origins of Italy.
Before, after or during the evening tour, a gourmet stop in the thousands of restaurants overlooking Piazza Fontanesi is a must. What about erbazzone, cold cuts with a vertical tasting of Parmigiano Reggiano, paired with good wine?
