This itinerary takes us through some of the smaller towns governed for centuries by important local families; the Gonzagas, the Bentivoglios and the Estes made these towns the administration centres of the territory; today we can still see the tangible signs of their presence.
This, however is also land of flavours and it is therefore possible, following the river, to see the dairies where the famous Parmigiano Reggiano cheese is produced, there are also the wine cellars where sparkling Lambrusco can be found and country houses that guard in their mansards the batteries of small barrels for the famous local Balsamic Vinegar.
The itinerary offers the possibility to take a trip on the River Po with personalised excursions to see the art of other places; palaces and towns. You may also like to take a meal on board.
